Maybe with updated manufacturing processes they could re-introduce it! Β I think the Aspherical had hand ground Asph elements, which were very costly to produce due to the reject rates. The Asph has a molded/pressed Asph element. As for which is better, I doubt that you'd see it in real world shots but from a collectors point of view the Aspherical is worth more due to the low production volumes.
