roguewave Posted June 5, 2011 Author Share #10  Posted June 5, 2011 That's a new one .... to me at least! So, if people aren't allowed to smoke in an open space like this, it beats me where else they can have a quiet peaceful smoke.  Ivan, the strategy is to end smoking altogether. In many new residential buildings it's in the lease or purchase agreement that smoking is outlawed, even in one's own private space. My wife & I were in Times Square the other night & there weren't many smokers. On the street, many people are demanding that smokers extinguish their cigs, if they are in a designated Park area.I'd hate to be the person trying to light a cigar in a public space in Manhattan. wilfredo Posted June 5, 2011 Share #11 Â Posted June 5, 2011 Nice! I think outlawing smoking is beneficial. Someone very close to me is trying to quit and having a hell of a time.
