cam2000 Posted February 5, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted February 5, 2007 The vertical gives more dimension...... both are excellent for the lighting and smooth tonal range.....nice sepia like color giving warmth.

robsteve Posted February 5, 2007 Share #10 Â Posted February 5, 2007 I like landscape. The trees on the left sort of holds the picture together. If your portrait had been shot to include these, I might have liked it better.
stuny Posted February 5, 2007 Share #11 Â Posted February 5, 2007 I agree with Robert for his reasons, plus it seem better balanced. Both are lovely, subtle renderings.
Rona!d Posted February 5, 2007 Author Share #12 Â Posted February 5, 2007 Thank you. I think the trees and the small road on the left in the landscape shot is important, so i would choose the landscape version. Next time there will be different light, but i will do another one in portrait which includes the trees on the left hill and the road. Too bad that there is no steamtrain on the railway-track (right side), only small local Diesel-trains.
MrEd Posted February 5, 2007 Share #13 Â Posted February 5, 2007 Landscape would be my preference. Ed. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â .
