It's an annual event, albeit one that has become more "polished" over the years. I have worked out where to stand for the best vantage point, and the action takes place "in the round" (and mixed in with the audience in some cases). There are some great "character" shots to be had, more with the bit-part players than the main "cast", as they listen and react.
