Steve Ash Posted May 12, 2011 Share #1  Posted May 12, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) In the course of the Egyptian revolution I had the chance to go to Giza which was almost free of tourist with only a few locals around. That gave me the time to take some shots with my M7 and Adox CMS20. I hope you enjoy them.  Regards, Steve  Welcome, dear visitor! gjames9142 Posted May 12, 2011 Share #3 Â Posted May 12, 2011 Puts me in mind of Gustave Flaubert, who first saw the pyramids on horseback with the photogapher Maxime du Camp. Highly recommend Flaubert in Egypt, Frances Steegmuller. You are competing, in this tourist-less scene, with Francis Frith.

Steve Ash Posted May 13, 2011 Author Share #10 Â Posted May 13, 2011 Thanks to all for the kind words. Some technical notes if anyone might be interested. I use Adox Adotech Developer. Although set at ISO25 I needed to use a 8xND Filter to be able to shoot wide open (f1.4-2). A little bit of the small DOF got lost from the downsizing of the images.
