Feudal1 Posted May 3, 2011 Share #1 Â Posted May 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've read the paragraph in the manual about this, have focused using both modes, and am still not sure of what the real difference is. The manual on Page 98 says this: Â "The high speed version offers faster focusing. It can result in a less fluent monitor image though, especially in the case of fast moving subjects. Therefore, if the best possible monitor image is the highest priority, you can prefer the normal version." Â What does this mean? Is it saying that the LCD monitor on the back of the camera refreshes less quickly with "H" focusing, in favor of locking focus more quickly? That is how I'm interpreting this, but want to make sure that is the correct interpretation.

robert blu Posted May 4, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted May 4, 2011 I tried (not many times) but did not see any practical difference in focusing speed between 1 point and 1 point H. I use 1 point. robert
