stephengilbert Posted February 1, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I can't really compare Lightroom with other programs, because I'm not comfortable with any of them, especially Capture One LE, which seems to have no readily available instructions. Having downloaded Lightroom to try it, however, I discovered that there are actually instructional videos in which English speaking people tell you what the program does. These are free. In addition, Luminous Landscape has a fairly inexpensive downloadable video turorial which also seems to be understandable. (Only the intro is up now, the rest to come at the end of February.) These resources promise to overcome what I think is a serious failing in what I've seen before, which is the assumption that the user already knows how to use similar programs and doesn't need much help. I need something more like Capture One for Dummies: how to import photos, how to sort them, how to process them, how to save them. I think the link below does that for Lightroom.
