tonyNZ Posted April 30, 2011 Share #1  Posted April 30, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi all  The attached image (100% crop) shows some stray colours on the notice board of the church. It was taken with an M9 and a Elmarit 24mm lens (which I bought second hand a few months ago) on an overcast day, exif data show f2.8, iso 200, 1/3000s, auto wb. I had taken 5 pictures of this church and this aberration occurs in all the images. I drove past the church today to check that the notice board read correctly - it did: plain white text against a black background.  Can anyone explain what it going on here please? Is it the lens or is it CA, or some other artifact?  Thanks  Tony

brucek Posted April 30, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted April 30, 2011 Was that from a JPG or a DNG file? To me it looks like either JPG artifacts or moire from a DNG file. Â Bruce

tonyNZ Posted April 30, 2011 Author Share #5  Posted April 30, 2011 Yes Bill, it does look like moire. I have now tried to correct it in C1, but I begin to lose the red arrow. So, I tried in Aperture and actually got a much better effect to my surprise!  Thanks  TOny
