Your Old Dog Posted May 3, 2011 Share #7  Posted May 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Its the message, not the medium that's important. A great image is a great image no matter how its taken. Visualize Vincent Van Gogh and what he might do with a big box of Crayola crayons!  Do I miss film? Yea, I miss having to refrigerate it, I miss wasting half a roll because I want to use some different film, I miss the hour it took to get chemicals up to temp, I miss the dust in the darkroom, I miss washing ferro type tins, I miss standing in the darkroom till my legs ached. Yea, I miss all that, but not bad enough to give up my instant gratification M9 and the ability to ship my images world wide in seconds and thanks to EyeFi, even shoot with the M9 and ship with my cellphone anywhere on earth. Yea I miss it, like a toothache  (Don't anybody go high and mighty on me, it's just my opinion and I'm having some fun, not trying to slam anyone who enjoys working with film....or Crayola Crayons for that matter )  Nicely done concept tmldds. I'm a student for simplicity in art.
