fotografr Posted February 1, 2007 Share #1 Posted February 1, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) A lot of people think Velvia 50 is a poor choice of film for portraits because of how it renders skin tones. I find that on a cloudy day like this, it works quite well because of the warmth it introduces. M7, 50 asph @ f1.4 with 4X ND filter.

martinop Posted February 1, 2007 Share #2 Posted February 1, 2007 Refreshing smile / expression. Like the warm colors in this situation + the shot angle and the DOF
Dirk Van der Herten Posted February 1, 2007 Share #3 Posted February 1, 2007 A wonderful portrait, Brent, and your subject is wearing the right colours. Very much like the bokeh.
stuny Posted February 1, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 1, 2007 Brent - She had to have liked this portrait. Lovely subtle light and color on a most attractive face, perfect framing and focus choices.

fotografr Posted February 1, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted February 1, 2007 Paul, Dirk, Stuart and John--Thanks very much for your comments. I had hoped to have my M8 back from repair in time for this shoot but it is still in Solms. I think it would have been an interesting side by side comparison.
