This hint brings to mind several of Brazil's large cities, but I'll make a guess at Sao Paulo.

The previous (previous page) clue was that it has “only” 2 million people - São Paulo is a lot bigger city....

In this city you can find a spectacular museum named to honour its famous architect.

That's a really good hint. Brasilia's most famous Architect, Oscar Niemeyer, designed a museum for art and architecture in Curitiba.

Thanks, I had no idea that the architect/planner, Jaime Lerner was behind the BRT which was the inspiration for Quito's Ecovia mass transit system that I use often. A trip to Curitiba is in order.
