Hello Enrique,

Unfortunately this is where things become difficult. Beyond recognizing places that I have been to I try to determine the location of a photo by looking at what is & what is not there.

I use the geology, the climate, the flora & the fauna** & so on to try to determine where in the World we are. As to the specifics of this platform in the sky (By the way: Is it a restaurant & does it rotate?) I do not use Google & such. Just an occasional Atlas*

Best Regards,

Michael

Hi Michael, I admire the way you play the game, but if you have ever been to Düsseldorf or seen a postcard of it, this building stands out. It is the most important landmark, the 240 meter Rheinturm telecommunications tower.  Well done, over to you!

Ok, just so this thread does not die off, I will post something relatively obscure, I hope you will forgive me. Where am I and where does the path lead to?

Hello Enrique,

From this point on I don't have a clue.

It seems like it is just the 2 of us for the time being. Hopefully more people will show an interest after the fussing & fuming of   You Know What   begins to quiet down.

In the mean time, if there are no other people interested in participating at this time, do you mind telling me where we are & then putting up another photo?

If you remember, I don't have the ability to put up any photos at the current time.

I would like to add that I think your choice of photo locations is very interesting & your ability as a photographer is quite good.

Best Regards,

Michael

Thank you Michael. But rather than revealing the place, let me post a clue.

Hello Enrique,

Not a clue.

I know something about the geology, geography, flora, etc of the South East of Spain but not much about what people have done there since people in that region started settling down & started staying more or less in place.

This would appear to be an: At least partially person made, something. And whatever it is that people are doing there seems to be something which is moving progressively closer to the buildings.

Not a happy thought.

Best Regards,

Michael

Michael, this is not man made, it is a natural canyon, just dry in summer. Here is a more recognisable view from the opposite side.
