In this case it seems the airplane has just started from Frankfurt Airport (formerly the "Rhine-Main" airport) and is going west. The city on the far shore of the Rhine would be Mainz (the capital of the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate). The town in the foreground, right underneath the airplane, would be Mainz-Kostheim. As the name suggests it used to be a part of Mainz on the other shore. Now it is separate and even belongs to a different federal state, Hesse... In fact, it is now part of the city of Wiesbaden, the capital of that state... If this is correct I apologize: I have nothing to show at the moment...
