Aye Aye sir. :)

I won't mind if you would like to delete my post above. I can post after confirmation

Confirmation in the affirmative!

Actually it's good to see someone enthusiastic to participate here, we've had some really dry periods. Please go ahead and post again.

At the risk of being premature (WAR should acknowledge the correctness of Jayant's response), could Jayant's contribution be the Golden Gate Bridge? :)

Correct. Part of San Francisco is on the right side of the bridge and the island of Alcatraz in the middle of the bay.

It always intrigues me that many earlier explorers (like Drake) missed the tiny opening to the bay (bridged by GG bridge now) and failed to see a natural harbor inside for over 200 years. This is because it is very difficult to notice the tiny gap most of the time covered in fog from the sea.

Had early British explorers discovered it first then the history of US west coast would have been very different.

Nice link below for history buffs. :)

I found it, Brasemer-meer, right near the airport. Netherlands is amazing.

Here's a new one, again my apologies for the bad photo but it should be solved very quickly nonetheless.
