I've handled the lens a few time but have never shot with it. Not to worry: from the photos I've seen, this lens can provide wonderful images -- not only in the dead of night @ f1, but also with all its other f-stops as well.

 

Look at it this way: you'll surely develope an increased right bycep from lugging this heavy lens around! Enjoy.

I just bought a used Noctilux. It is from the early 80s and is made in Canada. Not that I can do anything about it now, but is this still a great lens?

 

THis is one of the greatest lenses ever built! Congratulations and welcome in the Nocti Club :-)))
