reven Posted January 31, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 31, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Now I just wanted to drop a short note. I have my M8 now for a month and it's great. Yes IR is kind of a problem, and I hate the work I have to do in PS for the Cyan corner correction on my leica-m 21. But let's get to the topic. I did lot's of street shooting and I found the perfect couple. My M8+leica-m 21+IR Filter (and 28 in the pocket) and on the other shoulder my Canon 5 D with the 70-300 DO IS attached. I love it. I love the leice for it wonderful wide angles and nothing beats the 5D+zoom. It is both small. Gives fantastic results and it is light. The 5D is fast enough so that you can shoot without getting noticed. The I have the leice 75 cron, but I don't like it that much for fast shooting. ( I love that lens for landscape Panos) Now I wanted to write this because, with all that M8 vs 5D... What's that all about ... Such a combination works fantastic.
