I had one and sent it to Sean so now i need one. Any line on one would be a huge help. I start several big jobs this week. i could steal my 55 from the 21mm to put on the 90 apo but still need one soon. Any help on a in stock one would be very nice. Thanks for looking

pascal_meheut Posted January 30, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted January 30, 2007 They speak a perfect english BTW. So send them an email. But recently, they warned their existing customers to expect delays. Â I'm looking for a 46mm myself. And if someone wants a 49mm, I'll trade the 46mm against it...

Guest guy_mancuso Posted January 30, 2007 Share #10  Posted January 30, 2007 Adorama has this, I'm new to this ir filter business and this one is a "digital pro"? 65019759 B + W 55mm Digital Pro UV/IR Blocking #486 Glass Filter for Blocking Ultra Violet and Infrared Radiation  Probelm with Adorama is the never show stock , so you can order and pay but than you will get a e-amil saying it is back ordered. Happens to me a lot and just did on a Chimera speed ring. There okay to buy from but i hate ordering than find out it is out of stock after the fact.  Thanks Robert for looking. chetccox Posted January 30, 2007 Share #13  Posted January 30, 2007 Guy  I ordered a 55 from this company a few days ago. They said they had them but I have not yet received it, and my emails go unanswered. Perhaps they too are on vacation again. The website has an english selection available, and then scroll down to 'Leica IR filters"  They do speak English.  Leica Basar  or for the filter page:  Leica Basar IR Filter for Leica M8

tom0511 Posted January 30, 2007 Share #15 Â Posted January 30, 2007 I bought a 49mm last week here: eBay: B+W UV/IR Cut 486 55 mm Filter NEUWARE!!! (Artikel 280074311509 endet 03.02.07 10:36:39 MEZ) Â I received it after 2 days. Â Cheers, Tom
cometsoft Posted January 30, 2007 Share #16  Posted January 30, 2007 Thanks for that info Guy.  I haven't purchased anything from them in about 3 years, but they used to have a rep similar to B&H.  They seem to have a quasi-realistic "in-stock" system. They claim to be out of stock on most of the 486 filters and in stock on all of the m lenses (except the noctilux, and the two 24s).  Probelm with Adorama is the never show stock , so you can order and pay but than you will get a e-amil saying it is back ordered. Happens to me a lot and just did on a Chimera speed ring. There okay to buy from but i hate ordering than find out it is out of stock after the fact. Thanks Robert for looking. Guest guy_mancuso Posted January 30, 2007 Share #18 Â Posted January 30, 2007 Adorama is a good place to shop just there in stock setup kind of stinks, I would call them first if in a hurry on something for a stock update. They do deliver though
Guest guy_mancuso Posted January 30, 2007 Share #19 Â Posted January 30, 2007 People around here are just so damn nice. A forum member just called me and has a extra one he is overnighting to me. You just have to love this place and the members that reside here. So much different than other sites. Besides having great gear the owners are even better. Thanks Guy
