Taken with 28/2.8 ASPH yesterday, had to guess framing as my finder is stuck on 24/35mm. ISO 160 is good. ISO 320 is not bad. Anything 640 is borderline and will need noise reduction and 1250 is noisy. Haven't tried 2500, but I guess its too noisy for colour work unless its a particular 'look' youre trying to create. Maybe quite good for a grainy B&W effect. Will try that when I get the chance

Sparkie - when did you place your original order and through which dealer, assuming it was in the UK? I'm trying to judge when I might receive my M8 - my dealer won't tell me where I am in the queue for some strange reason, that he also won't tell me!

i placed it several months ago, around august last year I think. i could have had a chrome one back in october/november but wanted a black one. email me, i'll tell you the details of the dealer. they are starting to get about 2 a week now i think. a dealer shouldn't have to be caggy about about telling you the truth. I wouldn't deal with such a dealer myself. it calls into questions their integrity IMHO. why conceal such information, by straight up about it. who are you dealing with?
