robsteve Posted January 29, 2007 Share #1 Â Posted January 29, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) The Voitlander 15mm is quite impressive on the M8. This is a shot from my trip to Yosemite in December. Guy Mancuso lent me a M8 to shoot with. This was shot at sunrise, converted via Lightroom. The crop shows how sharp the 15mm is right into the corners of the M8 image. Â Â Â Â

mhanke Posted January 30, 2007 Share #7 Â Posted January 30, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Call me paranoid, but is the purple cast the result of the real ambient light, dust in the atmosphere, or of the M8's over-sensitiveness for IR? Â Regards, Masrcus

robsteve Posted January 30, 2007 Author Share #11 Â Posted January 30, 2007 Here is another from the same spot but a few minutes earlier. I might have held a Grad in front on the 15mm for this one. I played with the color balance and other adjustments in LightRoom until I was happy with the look. Â There was a blob or two of dust on the sensor, but since it was not my camera, I didn't want to clean it in case I made it worse. Â
