Jackson Posted March 24, 2011 Share #1 Posted March 24, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Images on the monitor appear in monochrome in the S,A,P, and M modes in the D-Lux 5. Am I doing something wrong or is there a problem? Regards, jacksond

Clifton D-LUX 5 Posted March 24, 2011 Share #2 Posted March 24, 2011 Hi Jackson, Welcome to the forum! I just recently picked up the D-Lux 5 as well so I am sure others are more knowledgeable and will chime in. When you say monitor are you referring to the camera or computer or both? First, check your "Film Mode" menu. If your not sure how do to do that, press the "Menu Set" button on the back of the camera. "Film Mode" should be the first item you see. There are 12 settings within "Film Mode" but there is no "Monochrome". "Monochrome" is only accessible through "My Color" mode. You may possibly be set on one of the B&W settings? You will want to select "STD" for normal pictures. I hope this helps! Charlie
Jackson Posted March 24, 2011 Author Share #3 Posted March 24, 2011 Thanks for your help Clifton. I had the camera set to B/W in the custom picture mode which gave me an overall fixed choice. I think the only colour mode was available in Snapshot mode. Oh for the simpler days of film!
