:) I am also a very happy user of the Leica M8. Foto Nivo Schweitzer in Amsterdam has given a very good service. I think that it is a very good idea to organzize a meetingpoint for Leica users in Holland. Perhaps can Transcontinenta organize it?

I use my Leica cameras for theatre photography ( Remmelt van Veelen: photography; color / Cibachrome landscapes and travelphotography)

I do my landscape photography with the Pentax 67.

We could probably do it ourselves. I honestly have no idea how many of us would like to chat about the m8 in real life whilst having a beer instead of sitting behind a computer.

Hallo,

Harry

Landgenoten !

Bought my M8 chrome from Kamera-Express in March.

Started with one lens: Zeiss Biogon T* 2.0/35mm ZM.

Then soon added a Summicron 2.0/28mm ASPH and an APO-Summicron 2.0/75mm ASPH. And since 2 weeks a Summilux 1.4/50mm ASPH.

Leica lenses bougth from LEICAbyMEISTER and LEICA Berlin.

Mainly combining shooting and walking in Amsterdam.

Thank you Jaap,

I'm waiting for the 28mm(2,8 non-asph), the 50 and 90. They are being coded in Solms or in China, i begin to believe. i just started using a leica m4-p 2 years ago. So i'm relatively new to RF camera's and feel very lucky to use an M8.

You can count me in as customer from Minderman as well. I appreciated how I could be convinced not to sell my old lenses but use them in stead. I have a 90 mm Tele-Elmarit, which is not as bad as some people claim, and a 3rd generation 35 mm Summicron that apparently can not be coded by Solms. Any idea's to resolve this?

Thanks & best regards, Maarten Zuiderduin

Maarten, you can easily handcode your lenses with a black marker. Here's a webpage telling you how. Leica M8 Lens Codes

Succes,

Hans
