gravastar Posted January 27, 2007 Share #4 Â Posted January 27, 2007 So far I've found Noiseware by Imagenomic Imagenomic - Imagination at Shutter Speed to suit M8 files very well. It's early days for me yet but I've used Noise Ninja and Neat Image for some time with Canons and so far I think Noiseware can reduce (but not remove) noise without introducing a "plastic" look. It has a lot of versatile control options which I'm only just getting to grips with. Â Bob.
erl Posted January 27, 2007 Share #5 Â Posted January 27, 2007 Thanks any experience of noise Ninja I use Noise Ninja occassionally but don't get too hung up about noise anyway. Haven't tried it on my M8 files yet as the camera is still on its way back from Solms for brain surgery. Â Caqn't compare NN with other progs. as I have not used others. I have had great (IMHO) success with NN on Epson RD1 files at 800 & 1600 ISO. Â Cheers, Erl
arminw Posted January 27, 2007 Share #6 Â Posted January 27, 2007 I haven't used my noise reduction program " NEAT IMAGE " with the M8 , but I've used it with the Digilux 2 and my other cameras and it works beautifully. It is certainly an alternative to noise Ninja , but at the end its you who has to be happy . My recommendation is to try them all and the use the one you feel most happy with . j. borger Posted January 28, 2007 Share #8 Â Posted January 28, 2007 I do not see a need to use noisereduction with the M8! Print the "noisy" files and be amazed how good they look ............!
