petert531 Posted January 25, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) The makeup artist almost left when the model showed up because she looked, ahem, not too amazing. Something magical happened on the way from the makeup table to the set. She transformed. This is Milena from last night. Practically no touchups and no lighting tricks, no gels, just the basics, looking for something from the girl. Peter
Advertisement Posted January 25, 2007 Posted January 25, 2007 Hi petert531, Take a look here Milena. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
petert531 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Share #2 Posted January 25, 2007 Adding one more...earthy type shot, done in the style of one of my idos, Paolo Roversi. I realize it's not shot with an 8x10 Deardorff etc, but it does try to get the raw feel there. Peter

petert531 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Share #6 Posted January 25, 2007 Thanks I had fun last night, because of the way events unfolded, especially since the model was VERY late. To answer your question...Sadly it is a competitor's FF 35 dslr using summicron lenses. I look forward to the day I can use an R10.. 16 bit I hope! Now that the M8 is out, I hope they can focus (no pun intended) on this. I am happy with my M6/M2 and shoot low enough volumes there to stay with film. In a week at the studio I will go through 1000 frames...too much for film...and have 'clients' expect next day turn around time for contact sheets/selects via email. All this and I am NOT a pro...what a 'hobby'! Peter
petert531 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Share #7 Posted January 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) her feet are there in the full frame. I have to crop to 9X12 (ie. 3 to 4 instead of 2 to 3 of 35 mm frame. As hard as I try I still compose full frame. Sigh...see attached Peter
