Advertisement Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Hi m9hk, Take a look here Noc 50mm 0.95 no box...shall i?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
eldernomad Posted February 18, 2011 Share #2 Posted February 18, 2011 I don't know about the Noctilux f0.95 availability in your area, a brand new Noctilux is for USD10.5K in the U.S.A. You didn't give much info. Did you see the lens physically what about proof of purchase, receipt, certificate, warranty and other papers that proves the item is legit. If I want to buy a Noctilux f0.95 for USD10K I will add another USD500 & get it from a reputed Leica Dealer with box warranty etc.... Good Luck, Ali
lars_bergquist Posted February 18, 2011 Share #3 Posted February 18, 2011 Considering that the Nocti comes in a box worthy of a piece of jewelry (which may of course be less expensive) I would be suspicious and ask some pointed questions about provenance. I also hope that you will get a good dealer's warranty on it. Still, there are people around with more money than sense, so it may well be all right. Ecar Posted February 18, 2011 Share #4 Posted February 18, 2011 If you don't mind buying from the bay, there's currently a fully boxed one on sale for about the same price. And you get buyer protection if you pay through PayPal...
marknorton Posted February 18, 2011 Share #5 Posted February 18, 2011 When I bought my Noctilux 0.95, one of the first 5 in the country, the lens serial not did not match that on the box, the outer, poly bag, warranty certificate and the rest. I've no doubt at all the lens is genuine and Leica supplied a complete new set to match the actual lens, empty boxes, even the poly bag, something like 7 items. They also asked me to return the incorrect items to take them out of circulation. For any Leica lens, but especially the premium ones, I think a box and sales receipt are very important and I would not consider buying one without them.
