kodaktrix Posted January 25, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 25, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anybody have experiences with film filters like Kodak Wrattenfilters behind the rear lens in comparison to glas filters in front of the front lens? Is there a difference in quality? Regards Oliver

earleygallery Posted January 25, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 25, 2007 How would you fit a gel filter behind the lens?
kodaktrix Posted January 25, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted January 25, 2007 The lens does have a gel filter holder for that. Cheers Oliver
rafael_macia Posted February 1, 2007 Share #4 Posted February 1, 2007 Oliver, It is my understanding that a glass filter in front of the lens may be a safer bet. Behind the lens you are filtering the light path, and the lens must be focused with filter in place. The differences may be minute, and using the Wrattens may be more economical, and convenient. Sorry, I do not know more. Just thought to throw my 2 cents in. Rafael
