richam Posted January 24, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 24, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) MP, '50 Lux (pre-asph) wide open, Neopan 1600. Dust removal and levels adjustment only. From the Preveza Sardine Festival in Greece. It would have been difficult to get this image with digital. Keriakos on the left is nicely sharp, while friend Mitsos on the right is just enough out of focus to be recognized, but he's relegated to a secondary role in the image with eyes pointing to the subject. The food stand and floodlights in the back are nicely and softly out of focus and not recognizable, which is ok for atmosphere. They are so out of focus that the two flare spots in the center don't look out of place -- they could be more of the flood lighting. davidmires Posted January 25, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 25, 2007 Nice shot. The only problem I see re: this shot in digital is- If it was taken with my M8, there would probably be a big streak across the top of the frame from the bright lights:(
