patashnik Posted February 9, 2011 Share #1 Posted February 9, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm sure this is the dumbest question ever, but I've received a 19mm Elmarit R f/2.8 (ROM), and there seems to be built in filters. But how do I change them? I'm afraid that I'll break something. And sorry for sounding like a moron, but this lens came with an R9/DMR that I got. Advertisement Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Hi patashnik, Take a look here Leica Elmarit-R 19mm (ROM) - how to change filters?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted February 9, 2011 Share #2 Posted February 9, 2011 Isn't there a rotating ring half way along the body? I have the previous version without filters - on the DMR, your lens is fantastic. Just be careful with that front element
Moritz Posted February 9, 2011 Share #3 Posted February 9, 2011 Hi, you have to push the whole filter ring towards the Camera first and then turn it. You can only turn it, while seeing the red colour of the ring underneath. Best Regards Moritz
