Advertisement Posted January 24, 2007 Posted January 24, 2007 Hi Guest flatfour, Take a look here Switching off a raw file save. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
marknorton Posted January 24, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 24, 2007 It should not power down until the save is complete. That power switch does not actually interrupt power to the camera.
Guest flatfour Posted January 24, 2007 Share #3 Posted January 24, 2007 Thanks Mark for you prompt answer. I was out this morning and forgot I was in RAW mode and switched the camera off as s0on as i heard the click of the shutter.
wparsonsgisnet Posted January 24, 2007 Share #4 Posted January 24, 2007 Anthony, I have done this, too, when trying to conserve battery power. The led keeps on ticking and the files write properly. As another item of good design, Leica won't fire a flash when the shutter speed is faster than 1/250. The shutter goes, but the flash does not, telling the photog to fix the speed setting.
