ui29bk Posted January 30, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 30, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Goot Morning from Germany, I was just looking for detailed information on the f3.5 Summaron when I noticed that the english Leica Wiki Pages seem to have been hacked (see my attached screenshot). Are people/ admins aware of this? Or is it merely a technical fault? Best regards Welcome, dear visitor! LUF Admin Posted January 30, 2011 Share #4 Posted January 30, 2011 Thanks for the report - Main page is OK again but we had some spammers whose traces I have to tidy up now... Best regards from Bonn Andreas
Nicoleica Posted January 30, 2011 Share #5 Posted January 30, 2011 This may be totally unrelated, but I noticed earlier this morning that the 'Buy & Sell' column was full of adverts for DVDs instead of cameras. It seems to be back to normal now though.
sfage Posted January 30, 2011 Share #6 Posted January 30, 2011 Tell the spammers we're giving them a free desert island paradise... and drop a bomb there.

And just to be precise: No, the Leica Forum and the server were never hacked. These are only spammers who register and post via forum and wiki via the normal processes. Bad enough but they never had control over server or forum software or access to any protected data. Best regards from Bonn Andreas
