Advertisement Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Hi andybarton, Take a look here Hate the M style strap, and found one solution. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
bocaburger Posted February 3, 2011 Share #22 Posted February 3, 2011 I like the OEM strap save for one thing: the webbing seems to slip through the wire loop things, so the camera hangs oddly at times (i.e. the attachment isn't at the very bottom of the loop). If it could slip freely it wouldn't happen, nor if attachment doohickey gripped it tenaciously. As is, it's sort of a frictional gripping, which slips. I thought about removing the OEM attachments and substituting round split-rings, but instead found some Voightlander straps in black cloth with leather fobs, and those happen to be just the right length for me. The pads don't hold very well, but I don't use the one-shoulder carry technique anyway (I prefer the "I'm-a-tourist" around-the-neck look ).
