Christoph13 Posted January 27, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 27, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi possibly a dumb question but I read somewhere that one can join "some" Flickr group and search for a specific lens one is interested in. Not being terribly familiar with Flickr I find many different groups, some with Leica in their name, but joining all of them is certainly not what that person had in mind so obviously I am barking up the wrong tree. Is there a meta layer in Flickr that would allow me to achieve what I am after? Thanks Chris
Advertisement Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 Hi Christoph13, Take a look here Flickr group to search for photos taken with specific lens?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted January 27, 2011 Share #2 Posted January 27, 2011 You don't need to join any groups at all, you just need to use the search function in Flickr to search for the lens you are interested in. You are reliant on people tagging or otherwise making reference to the lens, and describing it in the way that you are searching, but that is the same for any search. Thanks Chris You don't need to join but might want to check out Flickr: M-mount (Leica, Zeiss, Voigtlander) Almost 50k photos, 2300 members, currently. Cheers, Roland.
