smkoush Posted January 20, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 20, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) So my wife just pointed out to me the following, and she thought that someone in "The forum" may be involved. This person (please see link below) was skiing in Brooklyn's Prospect Park after the Christmas blizzard in New York, and came upon a roll of film which seemed to have been dropped by someone (from enlarging the picture, it looks like a Kodak black and white roll, of possibly 400 speed (based on the DX coding)). He developed the film, and printed the photographs. He is now searching to find the people this belongs to, and return their photos. He posted a small youtube video with the photographs at the following side: New Yorker searches for owner of remarkable blizzard photos - Yahoo! News I thought I would pass it along in case it is someone from this forum. Savvas

rob139 Posted January 27, 2011 Share #4 Posted January 27, 2011 The whole thing smells like a hoax to me, a construct to produce a viral. Well done, more than one million views so far. Rob

Rob Very possible. That's what he does for a living. If not, it's a good story. Even though there's almost 8 million people in the NY Metro area. it is a small town. I run into old friends & people I met many years ago all the time. The Subway is an amazing vortex of time & place.
