Guest finofoto Posted January 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted January 3, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, dear international fans... at first: all the best wishes for 2011! ... as interested reader not only of this forum and the corporate magazine;-) (LFI), with the time i found 2 very interesting and competent test sites, which are saving timing for own testing: Sean Reid and LLoyd Chambers; both try not only to post their subjective enthusiasm like Steve Huff and Ken Rockwell often seem to do;-), but evaluate highly sophisticated and recommendable practical tests (for which they only charge a rather small annual fee of monthly 3 usd..) Very interestingly they come to differing results, especialy for instance with the 1,4 / 21: while Reid attest this extraordinary lens "no focus shift issues", Lloyd comes to the opposite conclusion / results in his comparison with a 3 D / Zeiss 2,8/21 combo: strong back focussing and focus shift.. Before i try to start own experiments: Does anyone in this forum has any specific experiences with that "fashionable;-.)" theme? . even at page 19 in this forum i found no article dealing with that.. kind regards, Thomas
