I'm new to Leicas and have recently bought a Digilux 2, a Digilux 3 and all sorts of lenses and accessories. Unfortunately last night my Digilux 3 got dropped or hit somehow while it was in a soft case... now the LCD screen is busted! It just got smashed. Everything else works. I can still take pics using the viewfinder etc, but no LCD screen functionality at all (it only lights up and you can see where it's broken). I'm already buying a replacement body, but I was also wondering: is this something that is worth having fixed somehow? Or is that just not financially viable? I think that it might be a bit expensive to fix, but your best bet would be to contact Leica customer service, and ask them for a rough estimate.
