Not disciples, but two chaps who sold me an M9 (via ebay) and a 50 Lux (also via ebay).

Not only are the camera and lens supreme, but they were two very nice blokes. I had the pleasure of meeting both of them on pick up.

They made my year.

Thanks.

Is your M9 the black or grey?

The M9 is black and the 50 Lux is the millenium black paint Pre-ASPH version. It looks very sweet on the camera and the photos are supreme (for an amateur) - a perfect match.

Both were purchased at decent prices; £4200 for the camera with case and extra battery, and £1600 for the 6 bit coded 50 Lux. Both immaculate. I was just lucky I guess.

I've since bought a 28 cron and a 75 Lux from Red Dot. Both a delight to use.

Bought same lens (uncoded) at Red Dot in the autumn at around that price. It outperforms my ASPH Summilux (which was sold within 24 hours because of UK demand) by a fair margin and I later got Malcolm Taylor to code the lens and make focusing movement less 'loose".:)

The versatility of the 50mm pre-ASPH is what sold it to me. The sharpness at f5.6 and the surreality at f1.4 equates to 2 lenses for the price of one.

I used to use the Canon 50mm 1.2 heavily for bokeh creation and this lens is slightly more controllable than that little :D beauty.

I'm told the new ASPH version is even better though I've not felt the need to change as yet.
