elgenper Posted December 22, 2010 Share #41 Posted December 22, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I also like small lenses. Optical performance aside, the 50 cron is wonderful on the camera in terms of compactness and balance. Waiting for (3 months now) a 75 cron and thinking if I shouldn't order a 35 cron as well Do it! I have the current 35 and 75 ´crons, and have finally put my other lenses back in the cupboard (although the old 50 ´cron was a bit of a struggle to mothball; it´s a beauty). A very versatile and very compact setup. The 35 took 2 lengthy visits to Solms to get up to specs, but now it´s very good. The 75 is one of the truly great lenses in the Leica catalog: sharp, wonderful bokeh and drawing. Only drawbacks are a tendency to flare, and the hard-to-see 75 finder frame on the M9. But it´s worth the trouble, certainly.
