Advertisement Posted December 19, 2010 Posted December 19, 2010 Hi BillCB, Take a look here Winter Storm, Lake Huron. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
J_Thompson Posted December 19, 2010 Share #2 Â Posted December 19, 2010 Bill, that's one extremely powerful and impressive image for its color, tonal quality, lighting and dynamics. Those wind-blown waves are especially beautiful. However, my only criticism is that your large watermark distracts from the overall effect. Maybe make it smaller and less conspicuous? Akemi-M Posted December 19, 2010 Share #4 Â Posted December 19, 2010 Bill, Â Lovely, powerful, image. Too bad about your unfortunate losses, because the rather large copyright is a distraction from the beauty of this fine photo. George James Posted December 19, 2010 Share #5 Â Posted December 19, 2010 That's cold, great photograph. Copyright's much too large.

Bill Allsopp Posted December 20, 2010 Share #15  Posted December 20, 2010 Absolutely first class, credit to you for going out in that to take the pic. I find Lightroom very good for © stamps 5-10% opacity usually does the job without being too overbearing

roguewave Posted December 20, 2010 Share #19 Â Posted December 20, 2010 Great image. I would have loved to try & sail into that cove without drowning. Awesome power of wind & water.
BillCB Posted December 21, 2010 Author Share #20 Â Posted December 21, 2010 Great image. I would have loved to try & sail into that cove without drowning. Awesome power of wind & water. Â Thank you all for your kind comments. For the record, it was around -10C with a wind gusting to 90 kms/hr. I had to use a high ISO to avoid camera shake - from my shivering and the wind!
