I'm with the camp that buys through a dealer that knows the product thoroughly and can be trusted for any follow-up needs. Many of these dealers, including advertisers on this forum, ship nationally and internationally.

That list is the list of ALL and the ONLY Authorised dealers. Anyone else is not an official Leica stockist, although Amazon might be an exception.

If Amazon is not an authorized dealer it seams odd that it is at the top of every page of this site as a place to buy Leica products.

Adorama sells through amazon,they(adorama) are an authorized dealer.the item will ship from adorama,I guess amazon gets a small piece of the pie.

Adorama & B&H Photo are both authorized dealers. Many of the local dealers, like Rahn in Austria and Robert White in the UK deal with online orders. I have ordered from all.
