Meet Rodolfo. No, these photo's were not taken in Nashville. The location is Old Havana. Rodolfo makes a living collecting scrap metal. Old Havana is a section of town that hides behind the shadow of a grand past. The beautiful old structures are literally crumbling.

"Hung out to dry." Up the street from Rodolfo. La Habana Vieja. All shots were done with the M8.

I like them all, but especially the portraits.

Of course it's very personal, but I prefer the B/W version.

It makes it a stronger portrait to my opinion.

I think 1 & 2 would be stronger with a bit of increase of shadow slider. Try it.

I prefer the BW, because the color seemed a bit strange in the 1st two (esp. the skin tone on his aarm).

 

The hanging-out shot is nice in its solid colors & its small colorful details, esp. the clothesline..

wonderfull, but the b&w should have more contrasts an more black, just my 5 cents,
