Wanting some SDHC cards for my M9 I tried to order a couple of Sandisk Extreme III cards suggested by Leica only to find they are no longer made. What are the best cards for my baby? Thank you.

Sandisk Ultra II are fine. I'm not sure that the Extremes are no longer made - I noticed Sandisk changed the design recently. If you look through the forum you'll find various other makes that are used with success.

I am successfully using SanDisk Extreme 16GB 30mb/sec disks purchased a few weeks ago at a major electronics store.

R, I think "Extreme II" and "Extreme III" designations have been dropped and are now just called "Extreme." You could check the SanDisk web site for more information.

Any type of sandisks works just fine for me.

I had a SanDisk Ultra 16GB and some photos vanished from the card when I tried to dowload them to my mac. Read a few websites that said 16s don't play to friendly with the M9 so now I stick to 8GB.
