Advertisement Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Hi Lucklik, Take a look here Hektor 85mm 2,8. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jlancasterd Posted January 18, 2007 Share #2 Posted January 18, 2007 Luc This is almost certainly a lens for a Leica projector NOT a camera.
doubice Posted January 19, 2007 Share #3 Posted January 19, 2007 Luc, A Hektor 2.8/85mm is most definitely a projector lens. The P2 might be referring to the type of Leica projector. If you could provide a link or a picture of the lens I would be happy to give you more informaition. All the best, Jan
Lucklik Posted January 19, 2007 Author Share #4 Posted January 19, 2007 Tnx for the answers. It is a projector lens and I would like to know how good it is. I have a kinderman projector (with plastic lens) and it would probably be much better if it fits. They ask €10 for the lens, which I'm would be glad to pay if it fits. It's worth €10 of anyone's money and will certainly give better results than a cheapo plastic lens.
fernando_b Posted January 19, 2007 Share #6 Posted January 19, 2007 I own one, it is a lens for projectors. It is not so contrasty and brilliant as the Colorplan but is very good! Surely better than my Rollei equivalent. Fernando.
fernando_b Posted January 19, 2007 Share #7 Posted January 19, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Forgot to say that P2 means a lens body shaped for the Leica P300 (or old P250) projectors. It cannot be fitted in top line Leica projectors as P2000, Pradovit RT and so on that require the PRO version of those lenses. Fernando. Lucklik Posted January 20, 2007 Author Share #8 Posted January 20, 2007 Tnx for the answers. I've just moved and my projector is still in one of those 35 boxes I still have to unpack. As soon as I find my projector I can compare the lenses and see if the Hektor fits. :-)
