To Buy or not To Buy?

I've have the opportunity to purchase both a motor drive M for a M6 TTL and a motor winder R. I have three Ms, two with motors and three Rs, two wIth winders. I enjoy the functionality provided and one Leica author has stated that all his Leica's have motors/winders. I don't blindly follow the herd nor what some guru advances. The problem is that this author made a very good case, and ended it by say all his Leica's are now sporting motors or winders. Do you think that one of each more of mine would be an overkill or roadkill.

I have 3 MPs all with Leicavits, and my R8 has a motor and my R3 MOT has a winder. Tempted to get an SL2 MOT as well (my SL2 needs repair, and I also hate how far the advance lever throws). I'm a great believer in rapid transport that allows you to keep you eye on the viewfinder. For night photography, a motor allows you to bracket without the risk of shifting the camera position when advancing the film.

I prefer the Leicavit for the Ms because I find it acts as a grip that helps stabilize the camera.
