BRJR Posted November 16, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 16, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) 1. I am finding this kit somewhat easy to find online and have shipped to me in the USA; whereas, the Kodak E-6 Single User kits are becoming scarce, and some retailers are even saying Kodak is discontinuing them. B&H currently has the Kodak E-6 developing Kits, but only for pick-up in their store. 2. However, the "Tetenal C-41 Press Kit", is available from them as follows: Tetenal C-41 Press Kit for Color Negative Film (Powder) T109306 3. And, from the Youtube, tutorial at the link below, I am led to believe this "Tetenal C-41 Press Kit", can be used for development of color or black/white film. Have any of you used this film developing Kit, and if so, how do you like it or from any of you, what are your thoughts; and, can this Kit really be used for development of both color and black & white film, as stated in this youtube video?:

You can develop C-41 B/W-Films like Ilford XP2 and Kodak BW400CN. Not the traditional B/W-Films !
Xmas Posted November 16, 2010 Share #3 Posted November 16, 2010 And some color cine short length hand loaded cassettes... If you want real economy you need to batch up the film and process in quick time sequence, use a stop, if the kit has a BLIX, Noel
tobey bilek Posted November 17, 2010 Share #4 Posted November 17, 2010 It works as good as any 3 step C 41 kit. Separate bleach and fix does marginally better, but is harder to get, more expensive because volumns are big. I also do not like reusing fixers because the same thing happens as when reusing fix on traditional B&W films. It is a decent clone for Kodak C 41 and I used it a lot.
