Summilux 1:1.4 75mm vs. Cron 90mm asph

Since I had the opportunity to buy an almost mint 75mm Lux, I am wondering if I will be satisfied?

Why asking? Well I have a 90mm 1972 Cron, which is very nice on my M9 but has a front focus. Thus I decided to buy an asph Cron whilst the 75 lux came across...

Thus I would like to hear if anybody had the opportunity to compare these lenses.

I shoot street and portrait, and people in general.

Thanks for any comments!

Regards, Dario

The 90 APO-ASPH is very similar to the 75 APO-ASPH in many regards, so you may find this discussion useful (and I won't have to repeat myself). http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m9-forum/150409-nikkor-85-1-4-replacement.html

If you liked your 1972 90 (except for the focus problem), then - visually - the (1980-designed) 75 Summilux will be more like that lens, and the (1998-designed) 90 APO-ASPH will seem quite different (a lot more contrast, a bit more resolution).
