holmes Posted November 7, 2010 Share #1 Posted November 7, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Received in the poste the B&H catalog. I was immediately interested in their film. Well folks, as we say out here in the West. Things look to be in very good shape. Henry Posner and his staff are to be congratulated by maintaining a very nice selection. You have Kodak, prints and chromes;Fuji print and chromes and a wide selection of B&Ws. They have film mailer processing, A&I in CA and Fuji's which will end at approximately the end of the year. He's still busy in Kansas as I just received a box of 36 beautiful chromes yesterday. The red flags were rich and impossible to miss. As to the Leica camera, film and the other one. The S2 is advertised for about $28,000.00 USD. More realistic, an M9 in digital. A M7 and a MP, film of course. Viewfinders are available in 0.58, 0.72 and 0.85. What happened to ala carte? I believe they have every lens, the exception are the 50 f 1.4 asph says CALL. They have most hoods and lens and body caps. For those wearing glasses diopters are available. And you can look at the rest of the stuff. Interestingly in the medium format Fuji is showing a folder, 6x6 and 6x7 formats, 120 and 220 film. There are in addition to Leica, on a two page spread we have Zeiss RF (film), Voigtlander RF and Vivitar's V3800N (film). Good learning camera.Speaking of which, Nikon is still producing it's FM10 (film). It's affordable and fully manual, great learner. OK that's enough, the catalog is 673 pages.
