Riccis Posted November 4, 2010 Share #2 Posted November 4, 2010 Fantastic! They are indeed the best lab in the world and the main reason why I dumped digital and went back to shooting film. Cheers!
KCS Posted November 5, 2010 Share #3 Posted November 5, 2010 I hate to bring up a counter example, but I sent a few rolls of color film to RPL about six months ago because I had heard good things about them, and the negatives came up so dust-spotted that more than half of the shots were unusable. I'm willing to deal with a little dust on lab dev'd pics (I rarely get dust on my home b&w), but this was reallly disappointing. I haven't sent them anything since. Are there any specific requests I should have made in order to get usable negs? Has their quality improved? Did I just get unlucky? Karen
Jaybob Posted November 7, 2010 Share #4 Posted November 7, 2010 Strong images. The bouquet toss is an outstanding photo, hard to do with a DSLR and fill flash. What's the equipment breakdown? Jay
ndjambrose Posted November 8, 2010 Share #5 Posted November 8, 2010 Decay2000 - congratulations, those are very nice pictures. Can you explain how the process worked for your as an overseas customer? How did you ship it; what service did you ask for from RPL; what were the times; any difficulties with logistics?
