Barnack's Monthly: November- WORK.

Recommended Posts

The theme for November will be WORK.

Any interpretation, any number of posts, any equipment as long as it complies with the forum rules. :)

Pete . . . that smiley face at the end means posts must still be with Leica hardware . . . ?

Of course. All photos must comply with Forum rules.

Absolutely; I was hoping to clarify that this thread is not just for Barnack Leicas; here is the relevant extract from the rules:

Prerequisite for placing a photo is that it has been made with Leica equipment and/or has a strong relationship to a Leica subject. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes the use of Leica lenses on third party bodies, Leica lenses on Leica partner cameras (e.g. Panasonic) and the use of third party lenses on Leica bodies. In general, photographs taken without the use of Leica equipment are not permitted.

As usual, photos from first-timers and newbies are particularly welcome. :)

Here's a couple from the days of wool shorts and exposed brake cables! Dawes Dura Ace pro Phil Bayton working very hard to catch the breakaway.

These were taken from the rear seat of a motor-bike, which the magazine sometimes provided, to save my legs.

From a set I did a year ago (Leica D2).

Louie will be 100 years old next month.

The statue they are working on (for a local church) was a tree that his son Ernie cut down !
