innerimager Posted January 14, 2007 Share #1 Β Posted January 14, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) My M8 is back from Solms via NJ, I'm very happy to say. I'm getting deeper into using it now that I know I don't need to send it away for a month! Tried manual WB setting in tungsten light using my expodisc for the first time, and the results were excellent. However I was disappointed to find no way to save custom WB settings. I hope to see this in future firmware updates. And while Leica is at it, I really would love if they implemented the system Kodak used in it's pro DSLR's, in which you click with a pointer within any image you choose, it's very flexible. Also, Kodak gave a 3-pixel by 3 pixel RGB reading with a pointer in any image, also quite handy. But at the least, we should be able to store custom WB settings. best....Peter
