Calibration with EZcolor question (a scanning thing)

Hi guys,

 

I just bought a Epson V750 scanner. I have never scanned film before and I'm having trouble even before I've started with film!

 

I am sure some of you here have purchased it and gotten the same software with it, so I am hoping someone here might be able to help... I want to calibrate the scanner by using the EZcolor chart that came with it, through SilverFast. Problem is, my color chart does not have a bar code on it, as the picture in the manuel does, and when I press the IT8 button, it scans the chart I placed on the scanner and seams to find all the squares, but it pops up a message that says it was not able to find the bar code and could note perform the calibration.

 

Any thoughts of what I should do, or where to find a color chart with a bar code? Do those need to be purchased separately?
