As time went on the frequency of failure continued. It started behaving that way about 1/2 through the Falklands part of 18 day holiday, before continuing on to northern Chile. If I recall, two other Forum members experienced the same error message. 2. If you begin experiencing other problems (without the ERR 2 message) you probably need to clean the electical connectors on the batter, scrubbing with a pencil eraser, or 3. ...you need to remove the DMR and power unit and clean all contacts with alcohol on a swab.
